A marketplace does not become real when the software is perfect. It becomes real when people start trading

bazaar is a web store that can be self hosted and used to issue signed receipts to your buyers AT Protocol PDS.

With bazaar, you can sell any digital item (music, graphic, video, software packages + keys, documents). People who buy your stuff can prove their purchase anywhere in the atmosphere, opening the door for public acknowledgement of support, content access control, membership, etc.

In addition to providing a commerce layer for artists/creators in the atmosphere, bazaar is truly peer-to-peer. It does not rely on intricate infrastructure, and has been deliberately authored to be easily self-hostable to enable as many merchants as possible to bootstrap their business without struggle. The rest of this guidebook will detail best business practices when running a bazaar and share technical details for debugging and extensibility.

⚠️ DISCLAIMER: Use bazaar at your own risk. Treat your customers fairly. Author of bazaar is not responsible for illegal/unfair use of the bazaar software.
